Internship Opportunities

For Students and Recent Graduates

Tree Top’s internship opportunities enable you to use what you’ve learned, expand your knowledge and benefit from invaluable on-the-job experience.  They’re a great way to explore the career choices that lie ahead of you.

Our internships are available to students and recent graduates.  When you participate, you’ll:

  • Gain hands-on experience by participating in relevant projects
  • Explore skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals
  • Use our internship program as a gateway to explore job opportunities with Tree Top after graduation.  Completing the internship program does not guarantee you a job upon completion.

Internships generally last up to three months.  Start dates for interns will typically be May/June; however, the start date can vary depending on the school requirement and department need.  Each year, Tree Top will select five (5) interns, based on the company’s needs.

Read about some of our Interns’ experiences:

  • What has been the effect of this internship on your career goals?

“The Tree Top internship position in the Audit and Tax group of the Finance Department helped me realize that I enjoyed private accounting rather than public accounting. It was easier to transition into the Costing group within the Tree Top Finance Department once a position became available. I was able to secure a permanent position at Tree Top at the end of my internship.” – Kelli P., CWU-Ellensburg, Class of 2014, Accounting and Finance Intern

"Interning at Tree Top opened up a massive professional network to me.  At the end of my internship, my supervisor wrote a full-page recommendation on official Tree Top letterhead...and signed it with all of his contact information if anyone wanted to know about my work during the internship.  Tree Top actively seeks talented individuals who are willing to learn and contribute, the internship program encourages and empowers the student to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to contribute to Tree top's success." – Macade W., BYU-Idaho, Class of 2015, Logistics Intern

  • Would you recommend Tree Top’s internship program to other students?

“Yes. Classroom work is definitely helpful but there is no substitute for practical application within a real business. The internship program helps with interpersonal communication skills, time management, chance to gauge different options within your degree, and provides the perfect opportunity to ask questions.” – Kelli P., Accounting and Finance Intern

"I would absolutely recommend Tree Top's internship program to other students, and I have.  If I had to use one word to describe my internship experience at Tree Top, it would be "empowerment".  At Tree Top there is a universal want and need for innovation; as such, managers empower interns to contribute innovative ideas for a real positive change.  Even as an intern, everyone makes you feel a part of the Tree Top family.  There is a culture of respect and willingness to teach and learn, even from the newest employees or interns." –  Macade W., Logistics Intern

Interns are paid an hourly rate during the entire internship.

Tree Top’s internship program is for students who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time they begin the program.  Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and will need to provide proper documentation on your first day.  In addition, candidates must be enrolled at least half-time in an accredited college or university as undergraduate, graduate, or professional students, or as a student at an accredited technical institution.
