Tree Top, Inc has adopted the Uniform Communications Standard (UCS) for exchanging business documents through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). We are pleased to have this technology available and look forward to working with you through this process. We have completed the development of required EDI program interfaces for direct input to our order entry system. Following is a list of objects and commitments that we strive to achieve through EDI.

  • To improve accuracy of order placements by transmitting purchase order data to Tree Top's computer from the customer or broker's computer.
  • To improve consistency and timeliness of purchase order delivery.
  • To electronically transmit all purchase order information resulting in the elimination for routine / clerical functions associated with order placement and allow the buyers to devote more time to merchandising and working with our representatives.
  • To process and send customer invoices electronically.
  • To facilitate and enhance buyer, broker, customer, and carrier performance and analysis.

Tree Top is looking forward to working with you in implementing our EDI capabilities. Our management has a commitment towards building a strong EDI partnership with our trading partners and would like to work with you and your organization. Today, we are able to handle several transaction sets using EDI, including inbound purchase orders and outbound invoices, as well as others.
