Teri-Apple Chicken Wings

Delicious as a main dish or an appetizer.

  • 1 cup Tree Top Original Apple Sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 2 tbsp. molasses
  • 2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. orange marmalade
  • 3 to 4 lbs. chicken wings

Combine all ingredients, except chicken wings. Disjoint chicken wings if they will be served as appetizers. To disjoint, cut off small tip at joint and discard. Then cut at other joint, making two small drumstick looking pieces. Put chicken wings in a shallow pan and pour apple sauce mixture over them. Refrigerate, covered, four hours or overnight. Bake at 350 degrees F in oven for about one hour or until meat is tender. Spoon the sauce over the top once while cooking. This sauce is also good on other chicken parts, turkey drumsticks, spareribs, or pork chops.
