Evaporated Apples
An all-natural fruit ingredient commonly used as a replacement for fresh
apples. The lower water activity extends shelf life, while maintaining
many of the characteristics of a fresh apple. They make an excellent neutral
base for other color and flavor profiles.

processing times and temperatures. Fresh chilled or frozen apples, cherries,
or plums may be used in any application where fresh fruit is desired.
Apple Sauce
Aseptically packaged for industrial applications, it can be directly
substituted for butter or shortening in baked goods to reduce fat content,
or used in flavored apple sauce applications. It is also an ideal natural
humectant to add moisture to product texture.
