Pecan Apple Sauce Cake

  • 1/2 C margarine =114 g
  • 1 C sugar =167 g
  • 2 eggs, beaten =100 g
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 C Tree Top Apple Sauce =298 g
  • 1 1/2 C chopped pecans =159 g
  • 2 C flour =281 g
  • 2 tsp baking soda =8 g
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon =1.3 g
  • 1/4 tsp cloves =.5 g
  • 1/8 tsp salt =.8 g

Cream together the margarine and sugar. Beat in the eggs. Stir in the vanilla and apple sauce; mix in the chopped pecans and raisins. Sift the dry ingredients and blend into sugar mixture. Spoon into a greased and floured 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes at 325. Cool 5-10 minutes before serving. (Makes 20 servings)
