Ingredients: 1 medium onion (finely chopped); 3 cups Tree Top 100% Apple Juice; 1 cup Tree Top Natural Apple Sauce; ½ cup cider vinegar; ½ cup firmly packed dark brown sugar; 1 tbs. ground mustard powder; 1 tsp. celery salt; 1 tbs. Worcestershire sauce; 1 tbs. Liquid Smoke; 2 12 oz. bottles chili sauce; hot pepper sauce to taste

This BBQ sauce can be used with pork or chicken as well as beef.

Ingredients

1 medium onion finely chopped
3 cups Tree Top 100% Apple Juice
1 cup Tree Top Natural Apple Sauce
½ cup cider vinegar
½ cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 tbs. ground mustard powder
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs. Liquid Smoke
2 12 oz. bottles chili sauce
hot pepper sauce to taste

Instructions

Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce is thickened and volume is reduced in half. Pour barbeque sauce into sterilized 8 oz. canning jars. Seal with 2 piece sterilized lids. Boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Remove with tongs and cool. Unsealed jars may be stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
