Ingredients: 8 slices stale bread (crumbled or cubed); 4 cups Tree Top Apple Sauce; ½ cup brown sugar; 1 teaspoon salt; 1 teaspoon ground thyme; 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon; 1 cup raisins; 1 cup broth; 2 beaten eggs

A delicious Holiday or any-time stuffing. This recipe is enough for one chicken, 2 Cornish hens, a duck, or a small turkey. This also goes well with pork chops.

Ingredients

8 slices stale bread crumbled or cubed
4 cups Tree Top Apple Sauce
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground thyme
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 cup broth
2 beaten eggs

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degree oven. Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Bake in 9x13 pan for 45 minutes.

Notes

Chef's tip: Try corn bread, stale bagels, or Rye bread in place of regular bread. Or try those bits of dry cereal that get left in the box. These all make great "bread crumbs" as well.
