
Reduced Fat Oatmeal Cookies
A chewy and puffy cookie that's easy to make.
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup Tree Top Apple Sauce
- 3 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups oats (quick or old fashioned uncooked)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat butter and both sugars with mixer until cramy. Add egg whites, apple sauce, vanilla and beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon together; add to wet ingredients; mix well. Add oats and any optional ingredients; mix well. Place by the tablespoon evenly spaced on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes until light golden brown. Cool & Enjoy!
Notes
Try using 1 cup of raisins, walnuts, chocolate chips, or cranberries!
