Low-Fat Banana Muffins
Delicious and low in fat! Apple sauce makes an excellent oil replacement to give you a low fat alternative.
    Ingredients
    • 2 ½cups all-purpose flour
    • 2teaspoons baking powder
    • 1teaspoon baking soda
    • 1tablespoon ground cinnamon
    • ¼teaspoon ground cloves
    • 1 ½cups Tree Top Apple Sauce
    • 1cup sugar
    • 3 egg whites
    • 6 medium ripe bananasmashed (about 3 cups)
    • 1teaspoon vanilla extract
    Instructions
    1. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cloves and cinnamon. In a separate bowl combine remaining ingredients; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Coat muffin cups with non-stick cooking spray or use paper liners; fill cups ⅔ full. Bake at 350°F. for 20-25 minutes or until muffins test done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to wire rack.
